Cookie Management Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your computer or mobile device by websites that you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, as well as to provide security and session management features.

2. Strictly Necessary (Essential) Cookies We Use

We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to provide our services. Specifically, we use NextAuth session tokens (JSON Web Tokens) to authenticate employee accounts, maintain secure logged-in states for administrators and technicians, and prevent cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities.

3. Third-Party and Analytical Cookies

We do not run advertising trackers, commercial marketing scripts, or analytical tracking cookies. Media assets hosted via Cloudinary integration may trigger standard CDN performance cookies, which only cache static images (such as crane photos) to reduce page loading times.

4. Lifespan of Our Cookies

Authentication session cookies are transient: they are cleared from your device cache when you close your browser tab. If you click 'Remember Me' when logging in to the employee dashboard, the secure token is stored for 30 days before automatically expiring.

5. Controlling or Blocking Cookies

Most modern web browsers allow you to manage cookie preferences through their settings panel (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). You can choose to block all cookies or clear existing ones. Note: since our application relies on authentication tokens, blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging in and accessing worksheets.
